We are proud to announce the National Committee for Quality Assurance recently Recognized The Veranda as a Level 3 Patient-Centered Medical Home. This national Recognition is the highest level that can be awarded to a facility. And, we are proud to be one of an elite few in Southwest Georgia to receive this honor.


Thank you for choosing The Veranda as your primary care provider.  We are committed to providing the best health care possible for you. That’s why we’ve embarked on a powerful new effort focused on giving you the best care at all times, even when you’re not in our office.  To help us do that, we’ve adopted a proven framework called the Patient-Centered Medical Home.

What is a Patient-Centered Medical Home?

A Patient-Centered Medical Home is not a building, a house, or a hospital.  It is a model of care designed to improve the coordination of your health care with an emphasis on your all-around well-being. It's a system of care in which a team of health professionals work together to provide all of your health care needs.  We use technology such as electronic medical records to communicate and coordinate your care and provide the best possible outcome for you. You, the patient, are the most important part of a Patient-Centered Medical Home.  When you take an active role in your health and work closely with us, you can be sure that you’re getting the care you need. Appointment Policy

As of May 15, 2017, patients who fail to show for any appointment will be charged a fee. For the first occurrence there will be no charge. The charge for each additional occurrence: 2nd $25 fee, 3rd $50 fee, and the 4th and after is $100 fee. This is based on a rolling 12 month period for each patient beginning with their first no show appointment.
